How to Block My Number

Hide your caller ID so your phone number shows as "Private" or "Unknown" when you call someone.

1. Dial *67 before the number for a one-time block

   Pick up your phone and dial *67 followed by the full phone number (e.g., *67-555-123-4567). Your number will be hidden for that call only. Works on both iPhone and Android.

2. On iPhone, go to Settings > Phone > Show My Caller ID and toggle it off

   This hides your number on every outgoing call until you turn it back on. Not all carriers support this toggle — if you don't see it, contact your carrier to request permanent caller ID blocking.

3. On Android, go to Settings > Calling > Caller ID and select "Hide number"

   The exact path varies by phone model. Try Settings > Call Settings > Additional Settings > Caller ID if the above doesn't match. Like iPhone, carrier support is required for this to work.
