Fold a classic dart-style paper airplane that flies straight and far.
Take a sheet of standard paper, fold it in half top to bottom along the long axis, crease firmly, then unfold. This center crease is your guideline.
Fold the two top corners down so they meet at the center crease, forming a point at the top. Press the creases flat.
Fold the new slanted top edges into the center crease again to make a sharper, narrower nose. This adds weight to the front for stable flight.
Fold the whole plane in half along the original center crease so the flaps are on the outside. Then fold each wing down so its edge lines up with the bottom of the body.
Open the wings flat so they form a T-shape from the front. Hold underneath near the nose and throw with a smooth, level forward motion.
