How to Pair Your AirPods

Connect your AirPods to your iPhone in under a minute.

1. Open the AirPods case lid next to your iPhone

   Keep the AirPods inside the case. Your iPhone should be unlocked and on the Home Screen with Bluetooth enabled.

2. Tap "Connect" on the popup that appears on your iPhone

   A setup animation will appear automatically. If nothing pops up, press and hold the small button on the back of the case until the status light flashes white.

3. Follow any remaining prompts and tap "Done"

   For AirPods Pro or AirPods 4 (ANC), you may see an optional ear tip fit test — you can run it now or skip and do it later in Settings > Bluetooth > your AirPods.

4. Confirm they're connected in Settings > Bluetooth

   Your AirPods now auto-pair with every device signed into the same Apple ID (iPad, Mac, Apple Watch). For non-Apple devices, open the case, hold the back button until the light flashes white, then select AirPods from that device's Bluetooth menu.
