How to Print Screen on Windows

Three quick ways to capture your screen on any Windows PC.

1. Press the PrtScn key to copy your entire screen to the clipboard

   Open any app (Paint, Word, email) and press Ctrl+V to paste the screenshot.

2. Press Windows+Shift+S to open the Snipping Tool and select exactly what you want to capture

   Choose from rectangle, freeform, window, or full-screen snip. The capture copies to your clipboard and shows a notification you can click to annotate or save.

3. Press Windows+PrtScn to instantly save a screenshot of your entire screen as a file

   The screen will briefly dim to confirm. Your image is saved to Pictures > Screenshots as a PNG.
