Delete an old or expired payment card from your Amazon wallet and make sure nothing still charges it.
On the website, hover over Account & Lists, click Account, then Your Payments. In the app, tap the profile or menu icon, then Your Account, then Your Payments (sometimes shown as Manage payment methods).
In the Wallet list, click or tap the card so its details expand. Double-check the last four digits — removal is immediate and there's no undo.
Click Edit or the three-dot menu on the card, choose Remove from wallet, and confirm. You may be asked to sign in again or verify with a code first.
If the card was the default for Prime, Subscribe & Save, or other subscriptions, Amazon will prompt those to a new payment method. Visit Your Memberships & Subscriptions to point each one at the card you want billed.
Return to Your Payments and confirm the card is gone and a valid default is set. Removing a card here doesn't cancel it with your bank — it only stops Amazon from using it.
