How to Remove Sticker Residue

Get rid of sticky residue from any hard surface in minutes using stuff you already have.

  1. Soak the residue with rubbing alcohol or cooking oil

Apply generously and let it sit for 2-3 minutes so it can break down the adhesive. Hand sanitizer or white vinegar also work.

  2. Scrub it off with a cloth or your fingertip

Use a microfiber cloth or old t-shirt and rub in small circles. For stubborn spots, use the edge of a credit card to scrape gently.

  3. Wipe clean with soap and water

This removes any oily residue left behind from the solvent. Dry with a clean cloth and it should be good as new.
